Ansell is a world leader in healthcare barrier protection products specialising in latex product technologies for condoms, industrial protective (PPE) gloves, low allergen, powder-free, surgical and examination gloves.
Ansell currently seeks candidates with creativity, initiative and a passion for innovation to join its Science and Technology Innovation Center for the Condom & Lubricant Product Technologies based in Shah Alam.
CHEMISTS (RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT)
Responsibilities:
- To conduct research and product development activities leading to new and innovative barrier products
- To evaluate new materials, chemicals and additives
- To support developmental and scale-up trials at Ansell’s global manufacturing sites
- To collaborate with other Ansell scientists globally in the US, Asia and Europe
Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Chemistry/Materials Science/Polymer Science/ Physics/Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline
- Preferably 3 -5 years experience in a product development environment
- Experience in medical devices and latex barrier protection products would be advantageous
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Practical, hands on laboratory skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
