Trainer's Biodata

MR. TOMMY TAN KIM HO 
Mr. Tan Kim Ho was the Head of the Quality System Management (ISO 9001/ISO 17025), of the Department of Chemistry Malaysia (until May 2005). He has been a Lead and Technical Assessor for the Department of Standards Malaysia since 1995. Mr. Tan is a member/chairman of the SAMM Laboratory Accreditation Evaluation Panel and a member of the Department of Standards Malaysia’s SAMM Working Groups. He is also a member of the SIRIM Technical ISO Committee on Conformity Assessment and was in the ISO International Working Group for upgrading of the current ISO/IEC 17025 to the new 2005 2nd Edition of ISO/IEC 17025 which incorporate the principles of ISO9001:2000. 

Mr. Tan has conducted numerous ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 courses/workshops for the Department of Chemistry Malaysia, IKM and government departments and the private sector. He was also ISO 9001/ISO 17025 Internal Auditor / Trainer/ Consultant for the Department of Chemistry Malaysia’s 20 HQ and State laboratories.
